PhoneSoap: Not Just for Your Phone

People have asked, and we are here to tell you that PhoneSoap is not just for phones. It’s true.

We're going to keep this short and simple:

If it fits, PhoneSoap will disinfect it.

I’m talking about anything that fits: toothbrush, jewelry, keys, credit cards, pens, cash, coins, makeup brushes, combs, hair accessories, shavers. You get the idea.

The next question we usually get is "but is it safe?" And the answer is absolutely yes. The UV-C light will do no harm to you or whatever you put inside. The only worry happening is by the germs on your stuff, and 99.99% of them will inevitably die.*

And don’t even get us started on the HomeSoap. Those suckers can fit a lot more than just your tablet. Say goodbye to 99.99% of bacteria and viruses** on your baby’s toys and bottles. Make sure to throw in TV remotes and game controllers, too.

You might be asking yourself, "But how?" There are three types of UV light: UV-A, UV-B, and UV-C. UV-C light is the only UV wavelength that's germicidal. It penetrates the DNA of the bacteria, rendering it useless and unable to reproduce. Pretty cool, huh? If you're interested in learning more about that, we go into a little more detail on our FAQ page here.

There are a lot of items around our homes that aren't disinfected as often as they should be. As a result, it's a lot easier for harmful viruses to spread. We wanted to make a product that simplified the solution to this problem. At the end of the day, PhoneSoap has your back.

*Testing was conducted in a laboratory setting on actual phones, Apple watch, headphones, credit cards, and keys with a variety of pathogens, including Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Coronavirus 229E. Real-world results may vary depending on size, shape, and material of phone or phone case. For more information, click here.

**HomeSoap has been tested by an independent, third-party laboratory to be 99.9% effective against Salmonella, E. coli, MRSA, Staphylococcus, Coronavirus 229Ein. It has been tested on headphones, jewelry and baby bottles. HomeSoap has also been tested to be 99.9% effective against salmonella using ASTM 3535 for efficacy of UV light on hard non-porous surfaces such as glass, metals, and plastics.
