We get questions sent to us every day about our smartphone sanitizers. Out of all the questions, there are three repeating Q’s that always come up. Today we are going to tackle those three questions once and for all!
1) Will my phone fit/will my phone fit with the case on?
Yes! Your phone and your case will fit in the latest model of PhoneSoap! That means as big as the Samsung Galaxy to the iPhone 8+ with an Otterbox case on. If you are still hesitant, each product page will have the inner dimensions of the product so you can compare measurements.
2) My phone has an “odd” smell after it’s been sanitized. Is that normal?
Yes, it is normal! In fact, be happy that there is a faint electric smell on your phone. That means the UVC lights are working! And don’t worry, the smell will fade after a couple of minutes. Rest assured that your phone is NOT melting or burning. That’s just the smell of science doing its thang.
3) The top bulb needs to be replaced. Where do I buy new bulbs?
Each bulb has a lifespan of 4,000 hours. Should the bulb burn out prematurely, the PhoneSoap warranty has you covered. Just send us your unit and we’ll replace it with a fresh and shiny new bulb.

Hi, how does one know if a light burns out ? Thanks:)
I recently purchased the phone soap. When I use it however, it makes no sound. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?

Just got my new PhoneSoap. LOVE IT! Question: My son’s Iphone has a cracked screen, but it works fine. Is it ok to put his phone in the PhoneSoap device with a cracked screen?
