Yes. On the back of the PhoneSoap 3, you'll find a USB-A and USB-C charging ports - perfect for powering up nearly every modern device during sanitizing. Plug your charger cord into the port located on the back of PhoneSoap 3 and set the cable through the port found on the side of the device prior to shutting the cover. When you shut the PhoneSoap 3, the sanitizing cycle runs for 10 minutes, after which the lights turn off but your device can continue to charge. You can remove your device sanitized, charged, and ready to go. It fits neatly beside your bed, doing its quiet job overnight.
Will PhoneSoap 3 fit an iPhone 17 Pro Max or Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra?
Yes. PhoneSoap 3 fits today's biggest high-end phones - like the iPhone 17 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Inside, most devices slide right in, even when wearing slim cases. For those using super thick protective shells, though, the extra space of the PhoneSoap Pro will work better. That model includes a wider chamber built for giant handsets and heavy-duty covers.
What can I sanitize in PhoneSoap 3 besides my phone?
Besides sanitizing your phone, the PhoneSoap 3 handles keys, earbuds, AirPods, credit cards, watches, jewelry, sunglasses, pacifiers, tiny remotes and reusable face masks. All PhoneSoap testing is on hard, non-porous surfaces. Tablets, keyboards, baby bottles, and kids' toys won't fit here - those need the bigger HomeSoap model instead.
Is PhoneSoap 3 safe for my phone's screen and camera?
Yes. Using just UV-C light, PhoneSoap 3 avoids heat, fluids, harsh chemicals or scrubbing elements that might hurt your gadget. A full sanitization takes 10 minutes with safe-dosage UV-C rays, gentle enough not to affect touchscreens, lens surfaces, sensing parts or oil-repelling layers, but powerful enough to kill germs. Research tested more than 1,400 rounds of such sanitizing on iPhone displays - showed zero detectable wear on protective films. It powers down by itself when time ends, cutting any extra ray contact.

Why does it sometimes smell when I sanitize plastic items?
UV-C is light, not heat, and PhoneSoap is ozone-free. A faint smell can come from an item warming slightly under the bulbs, and it is normal. If anything feels hot or looks damaged, remove it and contact our support team.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes. PhoneSoap 3 supports worldwide voltage (100-240V), so it works in any country — just use a plug adapter for your region's outlet with the included US-style plug, or plug the cable into any local USB wall charger.
