PHONESOAP TO DONATE SANITIZING PRODUCTS TO UTAH FOSTER CARE

Germicidal products will be used to help children in need of extra care

Lindon, UT – August 20, 2018 – PhoneSoap creates products that utilize germicidal UV-C bulbs to kill 99.99% of germs* on the surfaces of electronics. While the focus is placed on disinfecting smartphones and tablets, PhoneSoap products will safely disinfect anything that fits inside the device.

The company will donate (25) PhoneSoap 3 and (1) PhoneSoap Locker, a device used to disinfect tablets and other large objects, to Utah Foster Care (UFC). The units will then be distributed to families who could benefit from the additional precaution in the fight against harmful bacteria – such as those with NICU babies or children with weakened immune systems.

As stated on their website, Utah Foster Care “is a nationally recognized non-profit which finds, trains, and supports Utah families, who are willing and able to provide a nurturing home for children in foster care.” They also point out that in Utah, at least 2,900 children are in foster care at any given time. One of the most common reasons children are removed from their biological homes is substance abuse. In just last year alone, 604 children were adopted through the Utah Foster Care program.

For those that are interested in fostering a child, Utah Foster Care offers a calendar of events with regularly scheduled forums during which attendees are invited to ask questions about the process and the experiences of those who have fostered children.

If you’d like to get involved with or support Utah Foster Careyou can donate funds, volunteer, or partner with the organization to help increase awareness and create opportunities for others to learn about the foster care system. Visit www.utahfostercare.org for more information.
