Can I still use wired charging with the PhoneSoap Wireless?
Sure. Along with Qi wireless power, the PhoneSoap Wireless keeps both USB-A and USB-C ports so you can plug in the old-fashioned way. That means three ways to charge inside a single unit. When your phone lacks wireless ability, or when speed matters more, feed your cord through the slot - power up using the wire while it cleans. You can even charge two items at once.
Do you need to remove your phone case for wireless charging in PhoneSoap?
Most standard phone cases (plastic, silicone, thin leather) do not interfere with Qi wireless charging and can be left on during sanitization. However, the wireless charging pad does have some distance between the quartz plate and your phone - so if you have thick rugged cases, cases with metal plates or built-in magnets (non-MagSafe), or metal wallet attachments may prevent wireless charging from working properly and you can remove your case. If you notice your phone isn't charging wirelessly, try removing the case. UV-C sanitization works regardless of whether a case is on or off.
