How does an air purifier with a washable filter work?

A traditional purifier forces air through a disposable mesh filter that fills up and gets thrown away. AirSoap works differently: its TPA (Two-Pole Active) technology gives airborne particles an electric charge, then collects them on a set of washable metal plates inside the unit. The plates are the "filter" — but instead of replacing them, you rinse them clean and put them back.

That's what makes it a true filterless air purifier: nothing to clog, nothing to re-buy, and no drop in airflow as it loads. Does AirSoap really have no filter to replace?+
Correct — there is no disposable filter to buy. AirSoap captures particles on washable metal collection plates instead of a paper or fiber filter. You rinse the plates and reuse them indefinitely, so there is no required replacement filter cost for the life of the unit. (An optional add-on carbon filter exists for extra odor control, but the core purifier needs no replacements.)
How do you clean a washable air purifier filter?+
